The Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition will be displaying the Garrison Flag at the Beaverton High School Football Game on September 29th. The Coalition is inviting any Veterans or Veterans supporters to join us for this event.
The game starts at 7:00 PM. We will meet on the south end of the field at 6:00 PM sharp and practice folding and unfolding the flag. We will be in position to march onto the field at 6:45 PM.
Once on the field, the announcer will introduce the group and explain what a Garrison Flag is while we unfurl it. Once unfurled, the National Anthem will be played. After, we will fold the flag and exit the field. Once off the field, we will re-fold it and place it back in the protective carrier.
